Options for glass recycling

Parking Lot Glass Depots

We recognize that the community needs more options for recycling glass now that it is no longer able to be mixed with other materials we collect curbside. So we have worked with local businesses in our community to create easily accessible glass depots where you can drop off your glass bottles and jars — any color, up to one gallon in size (no lids, please). By collecting glass only, we will be able to reuse the glass in a beneficial and environmentally responsible way. You’ll find drop-off depots in the parking lots of these locations:

Ray’s Food Place

  • Central Point: 126 East Pine Street
  • Jacksonville: 401 North 5th Street
  • Phoenix: 735 North Main Street

Sherm’s Food4Less

  • Medford: 2230 Biddle Road

Sherm’s Thunderbird

  • Medford: 2347 West Main Street

Rogue Credit Union

  • East Medford Branch: 955 N. Phoenix Road

Glass drop-off at the Transfer Station

You can also drop off your rinsed-out glass bottles and jars at the Transfer Station. Glass can be any color with sizes up to one gallon. Lids are not accepted, but labels are OK. There is no limit to the number of glass bottles and jars you can drop off. Just make sure they are one gallon or less in size.
