Special Waste
Rules, requirements and special handling instructions for disposing of special waste materials.
Certain special waste materials — including contaminated soil, specific waste streams, and anything containing asbestos — have special requirements for handling and disposal. Dry Creek Landfill is not permitted to accept hazardous waste. Certain materials may be difficult to classify, so we follow a special waste management plan that focuses on characterizing particular waste streams. In some cases, testing is required in order to help typify the waste stream to determine if we can accept the material for disposal. Using the list below, select and click on the type of special waste you have to learn about the rules, regulations, forms and other information you need for safe disposal.
In order to bring accepted types of waste to Dry Creek Landfill, you must first have a Dry Creek Landfill charge account. Download the application form to apply for a charge account.
