Application of this Privacy Policy

Rogue Disposal & Recycling, Inc. Dry Creek Landfill, Inc., Rogue Waste, Inc., Rogue Transfer & Recycling, LLC, Rogue Shred, LLC, Rogue Clean Fuels, Rogue Compost and their affiliates (“Rogue Waste”) recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of the users of this website and of our mobile applications (collectively, the “Internet Services”). Rogue Waste utilizes third party vendors in connection with certain of our applications. This Privacy Policy summarizes the policies of those third parties, as well as Rogue Waste’s policy. References to “we,” “us,” and “our” may, as the circumstances dictate, include any third-party Rogue Waste utilizes to provide the Internet Services.

This privacy policy applies to each natural person ("you" or "your") using our Internet Services, as well as any interactions you may have directly with us, including reporting a problem or providing feedback to us.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our Internet Services. There are two categories of information we collect: information you give to us and information we collect automatically when you use our Internet Services. By providing information to us and using our Internet Services, you consent to our processing of your personal information as set forth in this policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by cancelling your use of our Internet Services or by writing to us – see Accessing, Updating, Deleting or Correcting Your Information below.

We also maintain information (including service and billing addresses and other contact information) that is supplied by you in connection with waste disposal services we provide to you. Such information is maintained independent of our Internet Services but, by setting up an account utilizing our Internet Services, your Internet Services account may be linked with that other data maintained by us.

Information You Give to Us

Some of our Internet Services require you to provide information directly to us. The information we collect depends on which Internet Services you use:

Information Collected by a Schedule Tool: In order to provide you with accurate schedule information for your location, we collect and maintain your address, including its street address number, street name, and city.

Information Collected when you sign up for Notifications: When you sign up for any event notifications, we collect contact information that is required to send you those notifications. This may include your email address, your phone number and/or other contact information, depending on the notification method(s) available and selected.

Information Collected by our Recycling and Waste Disposal Instructions Service: In order to provide you with accurate recycling and disposal instructions for your location, we require that you enter your postal code, and in some locations, we may also require street address number, street name, and city. Your postal code and other address details may also be used to provide estimated driving distances and times to nearby recycling locations.

Information Collected When You Report Problems or Feedback: If you use our Internet Services to report a problem or submit feedback, we may ask for your email address or other information. This information will be used to solve your problem and reply with a solution or a response. We may also provide you with the option of sending your current location or a photo to us which we use to help understand and resolve any problems you may be experiencing with our Internet Services.

Information Collected When You Schedule a Pickup or Dropoff: To the extent we allow requesting or scheduling service through our Internet Service we may require personal information, including your name, home address, phone number, email address, account number, and the items you wish to have disposed.

Information Collected when you Set up an Account and/or Pay for a Service: In order to set up an account to facilitate payment using our Internet Services, we may collect credit card details, a postal code for verification, and an email address for sending a receipt. In addition, such account will link to information already in our system relating to your service account.

Information We Collect Automatically When you Use Our Internet Services

When you use our Internet Services, we automatically collect information, including some personal information, about the Internet Services you use and how you use them.

Usage Information: As with most technology services, our servers collect and log information when you use our Internet Services. This includes your IP Address, information about the content you are viewing (e.g. its URL), the time that content is accessed, and the type of browser and device you are using. This information is used in order to monitor the use of our Internet Services and to help ensure the security of our Internet Services, such as by helping to detect and prevent intruders from accessing your personal information. It is also used to report aggregated information about who is using our Internet Services so that we can make improvements to the experience for everyone.

Mobile Device Information: We collect additional information about your mobile device when you use a mobile application that is powered by us. This includes the type of device (e.g. whether Mac, PC, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, iPad, etc.), the operating system (e.g. Windows, iOS, Android) and version, a unique identifier, and crash data when a software defect occurs. This information is used to improve the experience of our mobile applications, and fix software defects.

Cookies and Similar Technologies: We uses cookies to help improve your experience when you use our Internet Services. These cookies help your web browser remember any information you have entered, such as your postal code or address, so you do not need to re-enter it every time you use the service. Cookies also allow us to gather information about how many people are using our Internet Services, and how they use them so that we can make improvements to the overall experience. You may disable the use of cookies in your web browser's settings, but this may limit your use of our Internet Services.

Our Use of Your Personal Information

We may use your personal information to contact you via mail, e-mail, telephone or mobile device in order to give you updates about our special events, new services, payment confirmations, current information regarding our products, or other promotions that may be of interest to you. We also use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive from you. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g. for tax, legal, accounting or other purposes), whichever is the longer.

How We Share and Disclose Your Information

We may engage third party companies as service providers to process your information, such as running our Internet Services on a cloud-computing platform. As a result, some or all of your information may be maintained on with those third parties on their platforms. We may share your personal information with other service providers that provide certain services to us, including, without limitation, website hosting services, credit card processing, product promotions, order processing and shipping services, and visitor surveys. We take commercially reasonable steps to ensure these service providers adhere to the security standards we apply to your personal information and we prohibit them from using your information for their own marketing purposes.

We may also disclose your personal information as is necessary to: (i) comply with a subpoena or court order; (ii) cooperate with law enforcement or other government agencies; (iii) establish or exercise our legal rights; (iv) protect the property or safety of our company and employees, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers; (v) defend against legal claims; (vi) help with internal and external investigations; or (vii) as otherwise required by law or permitted by law. We may disclose your information to others in connection with any actual or potential sale, merger, acquisition or financing, including during the diligence process.

We reserve the right to provide non-personal information, such as aggregated data, to third parties.

Data Storage and Security

You use our Internet Services at your own risk. We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect personal information both online and offline from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from us may not be secure. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you provide to us via our Internet Services or e-mail. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any personal information to us via the Internet. In addition, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Internet Service, or third-party websites.

Children and Data Collection

Our websites are general audience sites. Our content is not directed toward children who are under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or minors. If our or our service providers become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases. International Data Transfers

Some of the providers for our Internet Services are based outside of the US. They have represented that all personal information is transmitted securely and stored on their servers which are located in secure data centers in the United States of America, and that information will be accessed only by them or by their employees or agents of, and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Accessing, Updating, Deleting or Correcting Your Information

You may request to access your information, or update, delete or correct any of your information we hold by contacting internet@roguedisposal.com or in writing, using the address in the "Contacting Us" section below. Deletion of certain information might require deletion of your service account, and discontinuance of your waste disposal service.

Certain of our third-party providers utilize services provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). The Google Maps API may be used to help find addresses and is used to display maps and calculate directions and distances to certain locations. Such third party does not transmit contact information to Google (e.g. phone numbers, emails), but addresses entered into our Internet Services may be submitted to Google services to perform location queries. Please review Google's Privacy Policy in order to understand how Google uses the data it collects.

Our Internet Services may contain links to other websites. Please be aware that these other websites have their own separate privacy policies. With the exception of our own websites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave any of our Internet Services and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects personal information about you. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by our Internet Services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by changing the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this privacy policy, unless other notice is required by applicable law. You should take the time to review this privacy policy each time that you utilize one of our Internet Services.
